Making Your Own Jewelry

Wire wrapping may be a little ambitious to start with but I've come across another type of jewelry making that is inexpensive to get started in, pretty easy and lots of fun. It's called a lot of different things: Industrial, recycled, repurposed, I'm sure there's even more. What it involves is taking materials you wouldn't usually use for jewelry and making it into something, interesting, unique and sometimes even beautiful. I've been using items I have around the house and pieces from the hardware store, I've seen some really cool pieces made out of old car parts as well. Here are some examples I've done, one set of earrings was even featured on Etsy and they just take a few minutes to make.
